    If you noticed, …
If you noticed, each person had a traditional made bow. This moment (outside a class) was part of a rite of passage, the last day personal bow hunt. Everyone had legal tags and tracked and learned about the deer as individuals. The experience and relationship was very raw and wild (and cold) for everyone there. While no deer was taken, if they did, they would have used every part for food, clothing and tools. You might want to check out some of the other videos on our page to get a better idea.

    One member …
One member mentioned they were going to “push some deer.” Did she mean surrounding the deer and forcing the animals to move from their natural sleeping or grazing areas so they can be observed for your group’s edification? Can you please clarify your purpose for this practice and how it benefits the animals? Is the game warden for the area aware of this practice by your group? Please explain the rationale here? How does forcing the deer to alter their behavior serve the deer?
