When other speak of interpersonal skills, they are really referring to really being able to work well with other. Not being able to work with other is a drawback in the work place and creates an unpleasant enviroment.
Therefore this is one of the main things employers look for as if you cannot respect your co-workers they may have a hard time handling you also
