Willie is in Oxford for a meeting, but his manager in Uganda keeps interrupting him with telephone calls. Willie’s colleague, Alison, helps him think through what he can do to improve the situation. Alison uses the ‘GROW’ model of coaching to structure the short conversation with Willie.
This video can be used to supplement group or individual face to face coaching skills training. It can also be used as pre-workshop preparation, or post-workshop as a reminder or reinforcement.
The Training Bite might also be used as stand alone training material for people unable to receive face to face training.
