What do u mean by interpersonal conflict in a negative way. Like conflict that affects one-self in a bad way?
If that what you mean i guess it really depend on how you see things if you want the conflict to be bad then it will be. However, if you want something to be good it will be, just look for the bright side of the solution. Hope this help.

Note; this only has to occur on one side of the conflict, the other member of the conflict might well have already moved on and is living his life as if it’s in the past.
