What is the difference between interpersonal communication and intercultural communication?

This is for an assignment, so i would really appreciate your help. I need as much detail as possible.

Interpersonal communication is between two people. Intercultural communication is between people of different cultures.

    Me saying "you stupid" is interpersonal communication.

    French newspaper saying "American high school graduate knows less than French middle school junior" is intercultural communication.
