Do you think it is a good idea to offer a interpersonal communication class online?


No. Some things are not appropriate for online learning and that is one. In order to properly learn and understand interpersonal communication, you need to see the other person and observe his/her expressions, mannerisms, tone, mood, etc.

    I'd call that ironic.

    Seriously, it probably depends on whether the focus of the class is theory or practice. If the focus is theory of interpersonal communication, than an online course should be able to accomplish this. If the focus in practice, then no — unless it incorporates a video interface.
